My name is Layan, I am 14 years old from the Gaza Strip, I write to you with a heavy heart and deep sorrow. Many of you are now aware of the tragic and tragic situation that is tearing Gaza apart. It pains me deeply to share with you that I and my beloved family, my father, mother, innocent children, my grandfather, his wife and his child, are in Gaza amidst the continuous, deliberate, barbaric and genocidal bombing, and we are desperately searching for shelter and safety. We are sick, there is not much food in the markets, no meat, poultry, vegetables or fruits. We are surviving on canned foods that can cause hepatitis, and when we walk in the streets we see sewage and waste that causes epidemics. The cooking gas crisis we are going through is that we cook food on firewood and it has many side effects. Malnutrition and polluted water that cause serious diseases, and we endure harsh living conditions that threaten our very existence. I have reached a breaking point trying to secure the safety of my family, and I appeal to you, my dear friends, to offer your sympathy and support in any way you can. Your generosity and assistance can make a difference in the extremely difficult circumstances we face on a daily basis.The cost of exiting Gaza through the Rafah crossing is approximately $5,000 per person. Family Details and Financial Requirements: Our family consists of 8 people: – 3 adults (my parents and sister) – 5 children (my brother, 3 sisters and myself) The total amount required for safe passage is calculated as follows: – *3 adults x $5,000 = $15,000* – *5 children x $5,000 = $25,000* In addition to travel costs, we need funds to secure temporary housing and basic necessities once they leave Gaza. Therefore, we aim to raise a total of *$100,000* to cover these immediate and urgent needs. The donations will be used to: – Cover the costs of exiting Gaza for all family members. – Provide temporary housing and basic necessities such as food, water and medical supplies once they are out. – Help cover initial resettlement costs until we can find more sustainable solutions.
